We, the Neshanic Garden Club are celebrating our 90th Anniversary with a Standard Flower Show entitled "90 Years of Gardining" on Friday and Saturday, September 13 & 14, 2019. Flower shows have been a tradition of our garden club over the years. The show will be held in the Hillsborough Municipal Building, 379 South Branch Road, where many people work, or come to the building for other activities and they may stop in to see our Flower Show.
The reputations of the Neshanic Garden Club will be on display in this very busy building. With our well-planned Flower Show and everyone helping, we will be very proud of our Standard Flower Show. The various committies have worked many hours planning the flower show. We need everyone's energetic support, cooperation and active participation in the show.

"Orchids, Their History, Development & Care" Roslynn Greenberg
The Orchid, which is a semi-tropical plant, captured the imagination of many Victorian explorers, who dared jaguars, rivers, and jungles to collect a wide variety of Orchid speciments. Darwin himself wrote a book about orchids.
If you are an orchid enthusiast, this program will provide much information on how to grow them successfully at home.
Many large gardens, such as Longwood Gardens, have special exhibits devoted to the many diverse varieties grown to satisfy the eye, not only of those who grow them at home, but also those who can admire them without having to grow them!
Roslynn has been growing orchids for thirty five years. She joined the Central Jersey Orchid Society, shortly after becoming interested in orchid growing. She has served as President of the society for six years. Roslynn also has taught orchid classes at Princeton Adult School for fifteen years. She has given speeches to Garden Clubs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the past five years.
