Therapy at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions - Hillsborough
Garden Club members, with flower arranging
skills and caring conversations, meet the third Tuesday of each month at 10:15
am to assist residents in creating their own flower arrangements. The club
provides flowers and materials.
Youth
Program - Hillsborough Library
The Neshanic Garden Club is proud to continue
serving youth in grades 1st through 4th at the Hillsborough Public Library. Once
a month, September thru June, on the third Wednesday, at 4:00 to 4:45 pm, children explore, create and
learn about topics related to nature, gardening, and science, and create a
project supporting the topic of the month.

Habitat
for Humanity
The club works with our local Raritan Valley
Habitat for Humanity in executing the landscaping plans designed for their
latest build in cooperation with local nurseries.
Environment / Horticulture
This committee provides information to the club and
community on conservation and environmental developments. Information on
pertinent legislation with appropriate outreach is provided.
Blue Bird Habitat
We maintain blue bird houses at Otto's Farm Park in Hillsborough. Our hope is to create and encourage public interest in providing blue bird habitats.
Lyons VA Hospital
It is an honor to participate in this veterans' program sponsored by the Garden Club of New Jersey. The Neshanic Garden Club supports the program with funds, floral arrangements, and weekly volunteers as requested by the state club. Garden Clubs are invited to participate or visit the Garden Therapy Program at the Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. The program meets weekly, Fridays, 9 am to 12 pm.
